Peter Rosenberg said it best when he started his show Open Late by saying that last week, "the music world lost a prodigy, an artist, and a friend with the passing of Mac Miller." We've all been coping in our own ways over the death of yet another phenomenal artist this year. As Mac Miller had just released another addition to his discography, the process is a little tougher as we could clearly see the evolution in his music, building his catalog as he matured. Many stars in the hip-hop community have taken the time to process the news and a few gathered on Rosenberg's Complex show to discuss their favorite moments with Mac.

The studio panel included Smoke DZA, Craig Jenkins, and Jeff and Eric Rosenthal while Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Xan, and Machine Gun Kelly recorded video responses. Kenny looked at things as positively as he can, "celebrating the life" of the fallen soldier. He looked back on the times they would laugh together, comparing him to most of the artists in TDE with their "sick, twisted humor." MGK chose to tell a story about spontaneously running into the rapper on an elevator before proceeding to spend the night with him, eating chicken wings and smoking weed. Lil Xan spoke about his idol as the man that inspired him to pursue music. He also made a stunning revelation that with all the hate he's been receiving and the passing of Mac Miller, he's "quitting music."

Shout-out to Peter Rosenberg for hosting the tribute show. Check out everybody's else's reactions in the video below. RIP Mac Miller.
