"I was wrong and we are gonna kill this track."

Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon is listed as a lyricist and composer on Eminem's Kamikaze track "Fall." It's the one song coming off Em's surprise album that's causing a lot of controversy since Eminem calls Tyler, The Creator a "fa**ot" and trashes other Odd Future members such as Earl Sweatshirt. Since the release, Eminem or Tyler have yet to respond to the reactions of the song but Justin has and he's very apologetic of the lyrics.

Taking to Twitter, Justin sent out a few tweets explaining how he wanted to change the course of the track but failed in his attempts. "Was not in the studio for the Eminem track... came from a session with BJ Burton and Mike Will. Not a fan of the message, it’s tired. Asked them to change the track, wouldn’t do it. Thanks for listening to BRM."

He added: "Eminem is one of the best rappers of all time, there is no doubt. I have and will respect that. Tho, this is not the time to criticize Youth, it’s the time to listen. To act. It is certainly not the time for slurs. Wish they would have listened when we asked them to change it"
