It looks like Pusha T and Joey Bada$$ might have a new collab on the way. During this past weekend’s Afropunk set in Brooklyn, King Push & Joey linked up backstage where the two spitters were dropping hints at having already worked on some new music together.
“In Brooklyn with Brooklyn” Pusha T says as he points to Joey Badass standing right next to him. Then, Joey gives fans something to look forward to when he hints at their upcoming collab. “Coming real soon. Just know it already happened. I know what your thinking,” Joey said as he laughs walking away backwards from the cameras.
Although it’s not technically confirmed, Joey makes it pretty obvious that he’s talking about a collab here, which would serve as the first time these two lyrical spitters connected on a record together.
Considering we just received Push’s Daytona album in June, I’d presume the record would be off Joey’s next body of work, but time will only tell.
