Despite reports that Drake's "In My Feelings" could lose the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 to Maroon 5 and Cardi B's "Girls Like You," that doesn't seem to be the case. As "In My Feelings" holds the top spot on the Hot 100 for a 10th week in a row, Drake now holds the most amount of weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for any artist in a year.

Drake has surpassed Usher for the artist with the most amount of weeks at the apex of the Billboard Hot 100. "In My Feelings" clocks in at the top for the 10th week in a row, helping Drake land his 29th week at the top of the chart. Usher previously held the record with 28 weeks at #1 in 2004. Drake's held the number one position for the majority of the year with the help of his singles, "God's Plan," "Nice For What" and now, "In My Feelings."

The Toronto rapper is also the first soloist and second overall act after Boyz II Men to have three songs at the top of the Hot 100 for at least 10 weeks each. Aside from "In My Feelings," 2016's "One Dance" and "God's Plan" also held the top spot on the chart for at least 10 weeks. In addition, "God's Plan" and "In My Feelings" also make Drake the first soloist and second artist behind The Black Eyed Peas to have songs that led the Hot 100 for at least 10 weeks in a year.
