Desiigner's "Timmy Turner" quickly went from head-scratching XXL Freshmen Freestyle to highly anticipated G.O.O.D. Music single with production from heavyweights like Mike Dean. Not only that, the XXL freestyle has been remixed and reworked by tons of other producers to varied effect.
After first previewing a studio session with Dean as the two worked on the record, Desiigner followed that up last week with the official single art. He's also been consistently tweeting that the "Timmy Turner" drop was imminent-- "Bout TOO DROP TIIMMY TUNER," he tweeted a week ago, following that up with tweets like, "NEXT TIME YOU OPEN YOUR EYES TIMMY WILL BE HERE." Well, we've opened and closed our eyes to no avail, but Desiigner is continuing to build momentum for the record with a new video on Instagram last night. The video shows Desiigner singing "Timmy Turner" lyrics alongside Mike Dean's piano keys with a caption that says "HE IS ALMOST HERE."
