Yung Miami speaks on her ties to Drake, Cardi B, and the Free JT movement.

Each morning, a new star steps into The Breakfast Club to chop it up with Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy and Angela Yee about their careers. Some of their interviews have gone viral (just think of Birdman) and others have gone under the radar. City Girls are currently in the midst of a full-fledged takeover. The Quality Control group consists of JT and Yung Miami, with the latter of which doing much of the talking these days. JT is currently serving a prison sentence and although she may not be out, she recorded an entire album before being locked up. Girl Code is dropping on Friday and in order to get the word out, Miami hit up the Breakfast Club to chat about the project.

Their last effort PERIOD helped to gain the crew some notoriety and now, they're looking to fully take over. Of course, Charlamagne wanted to get things cooking on his show so he asked about some hot topics in the rap community. After discussing how they got on one of the biggest Drake records of the year, Yung Miami was asked if she sides with her labelmate Lil Yachty in that she wouldn't work with Nicki Minaj if it came up. She chose to avoid the question altogether, admitting that she rides for Cardi but ultimately playing it safe with a "no comment." "I am team Cardi, City Girls is team Cardi," said the rapper. "Cardi supports the City Girls. We don't have to ask. We'll just wake up and see she tweeted about City Girls like, she really loves City Girls."

Yung Miami definitely paid attention during media training. While her favorite between the two is clear, she's leaving her thoughts on Minaj in the dark.
