City Girls have been on a heavy grind this year, but unfortunately, the Miami duo faced a minor set back in the summer. After releasing their mixtape, PERIOD through Quality Control, JT turned herself to the police on fraud charges. However, that hasn't stopped Yung Miami for holdin' it down for the both of them. Today, the duo reveal that they will be releasing a new album in a little over two weeks.

City Girls are currently prepping the release of their second project of the year. The duo announced their new project, Girl Code earlier today on Instagram by sharing the cover art and the release date for the project. The new project from City Girls is set to arrive on November 16th. They've yet to share any new singles since dropping their debut project, PERIOD, but hopefully, we'll get a new single ahead of Girl Code.

JT won't be out of prison by the time Girl Code drops, but she'll be coming home shortly after the project's release. A few weeks ago, Yung Miami revealed that JT will be released from prison in December, although she didn't share an actual date. Either way, JT was initially supposed to be out on March 21, 2020. Fortunately, she'll be out just in time to ring in the new year and kick off the new year on a good note.
