"Invasion Of Privacy" has gone Gold in under 24hrs.

Cardi B has barely had time to rest her eyes after night of cha cha in the big apple, in celebration of her landmark debut. According to RIAA calculations Invasion Of Privacy is already Gold certified record, before many have even had a chance to listen.

Not to rain on her parade, but the milestone was achieved through a neat technicality. Her inclusion of "Bodak Yellow" in the final draft of the album gave her a push coming out the gate. You see, "Bodak Yellow" already carries with it 500,000 units sold. So technically speaking, Invasion of Privacy was a Gold Certified album that moment it was released.

Although "Bodak Yellow's" units sold will not count toward her first week sales, they do give her a distinctive honor. Most rappers would be quick to capitalize off a breakout single, Cardi's patience has paid dividends.

Invasion Of Privacy is out today, where records are sold. The album features also features her second single "Cartier Bardi," as well as a slew of big name appearances from Kehlani, Chance the Rapper, YG, Bad Bunny, J Balvin, SZA, and more.
