Vince Staples reveals which song gets him in his feelings.

Post Malone is quickly discovering that interviews can have some unwanted consequences, especially when vibing off the brew. In case you missed it, Post recently sat down with Polish media outlet Newonce, where he proceeded to speak about the emotional impact of hip-hop, and how it compares to other genres. You can check out his comments below:

"If you're looking for lyrics, if you're looking to cry, if you're looking to think about life, don't listen to hip-hop. There's great hip-hop songs where they talk about life and they spit that real s**t, but right now, there's not a lot of people talking about real s**t." Whenever I want to cry, whenever I want to sit down and have a nice cry, I'll listen to some Bob Dylan. Or whenever I'm trying to have a good time and stay in a positive mood, I listen to hip-hop. Because it's fun. I think hip-hop is important because it brings people together in a beautiful, happy way.”

It's no secret that Post is a fan of other music, and the Rockstar singer has previously covered Green Day, Nirvana, and of course, Bob Dylan. However, his comments have been causing a little bit of a stir, and artists like Earl Sweatshirt took some time out of their day to clown Post over his seemingly Miley-esque words. And while Post has since defended his statement (see below), saying that it was taken out of context and that he undoubtedly loves hip-hop, the A+ troll Vince Staples wasn't about to let this one go. At least, not without getting a little parting shot in there.

Yesterday, Vince sent off a Snap, in which he challenged Post to put his emotions to the test. "Somebody go tell Post Malone to listen to Future's verse on 3500. If he can't cry to that I don't know what to tell him." He's referring to Future's standout verse on Travis Scott's "3500," which also features 2 Chainz. Do you feel like Vince picked the right song for the challenge? Or do people need to let Posty live. Sound off below.
