50 Cent took to Instagram this morning to preview a new TV Series he is executive producing. The series, emphatically titled The Oath, seems to be centered on the subject of corruptible cops and their brushes with blind seeking officials who come to work with brown-bags of lunch. Although dirty cop shows are seemingly hit or miss, 50 cent is playing this one close to the chest.
50 has really found new life in film and television, starting with Power, which itself is a show mired in a stalemate with its parent network. But for all intents and purposes, 50 is gaining valuable experience and exposure and is becoming adept at soundtracking.
In the social media post, 50 mentions a March 8 release date. The series will be available to stream for free on Crackle.
