Jay-Z and Beyonce are spending some serious cash on their dream home.

With newborn twins adding to their family, Jay-Z and Beyonce have been not-so-secretly shopping for a new place to call home in Los Angeles. According to the latest report from TMZ, they have found their dream home, but the price tag associated with the work the couple wants done is inching upwards with each passing day.

The real estate deal for the Bel-Air property, which we originally reported on back in August, was said to be the most expensive home purchase in the history of Los Angeles, according to a tweet from The Daily Beast. However, the rumored price tag of $90 million has now supposedly ballooned to closer to $100 million, based on alterations they're making to the home. Sources say that the couple plans to install a backup generator, presumably to facilitate the work environment in a built-in recording studio, although no cost estimate was given for this work. However, the acquisition of new permits has already been completed by Jay and Bey so that they can make $30,000 in alterations to the house itself, as well as construct a living space under the pools, an endeavor that will set them back another $750,000. Even with all the work being done on their California home, it's not like hip-hop's most recognizable couple are limiting themselves to owning a home in just one location. Earlier this summer, Jay-Z and Beyonce also picked up a house in the Hamptons, closing the deal at a cool $26 million. Measuring 12,000 square feet, the two-acre property also comes with a 1800 square foot guest cottage. The home has a total of 7 bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms, allowing children Blue Ivy, Rumi and Sir plenty of space to grow up together. Interestingly, the original house was rotated the by 90 degrees so the historic triple-height studio room could morph into a 30-feet high living room that overlooks a pond. You can view photos of the house in the Hamptons that they purchased here.
