At the end of the summer, Lil Uzi Vert dropped Luv Is Rage 2 that was a follow-up project to his previous Luv is Rage.
Now a couple months later, the Philly rapper seemingly doesn't want us to forget about his 16-track project with a release of 15 animated music videos to backup every song. His biggest track "XO Tour Llif3" still has the original video treatment.
Some of the videos see him flying with a blunt in his hand while an angry heart chases him ("Ex") while another sees him cruising down the street and blasting off into space, filled with colourful dimensions ("Neon Guts" feat. Pharrell Williams). Although the videos are just a repeat of the graphics doing the same thing over and over, it's for sure a creative way to keep people interested in the drop and back on listening to the tracks - if they ever stopped.
Lil Uzi unveiled that the physical version of Luv Is Rage 2 is slated to drop on November 17th. Hypebeast reports that the physical form will have bonus tracks titled “Loaded,” “Skir Skir,” “Min,” and “Diamonds All On My Wrist.”
Last week Lil Uzi performed two of his popular tracks "XO Tour Llif3" and "Sauce It Up" on Total Request Live. He gave a tame performance that had the crowd feeling every beat. You can watch the performance here.
One of Lil Uzi's next performances will be at Rolling Loud's SoCal Festival. Lil Uzi will be headling alongside Future, Rae Sremmurd and Schoolboy Q at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, California on December 16th until the 17th.
Post Malone, 21 Savage, Young Thug, Kodak Black, XXXTENTACION will also be performing as well as Dave East, PNB Rock, Lil Pump, Rich The Kid, Lil Peep and G Herbo. You can buy tickets here.
