Coming right out of the Bay Area, Rexx Life Raj has been making some serious waves. He's not only proven his abilities as a vocalist/rapper, he also has an unmatched ear for picking his production choices. Today, he continues to prove that he's the next up with his Russ-assisted "Burn Baby Burn."

Rexx Life Raj's latest single interpolates Prince's "Erotic City" on his latest single. The production on the track has an electronic vibe to it but it also incorporates bits of funk in it. It's a well put together collaboration between Russ and Rexx Life Raj. Rex Life Raj puts a pause on his regular introspective singles to drop a fun single. Russ comes through with a memorable verse while Rex continues to flex his vocal abilities for a bright single.  Rexx Life Raj details his fiery love for a certain someone. He goes in on the hook, singing " You got that fire, you lit that fire in me/ you're my desite, you right where I wanna be." The production on the song was handled by Cisco Cortez who works very closely with Raj. While the weather is getting colder as the days pass, "Burn Baby Burn" will have you feeling like you're living you best life in the middle of the summer.

After releasing his debut album Father Figure in 2016, Raj broke out of the local scene in Bay Area and began to flourish nationally. He's caught the attention of many dope artists in the California area such as G-Eazy, Mozzy, Murs and more. With his album Father Figure 2: Flourish coming through next month, he's definitely going to be someone you should keep an eye out on.

Quotable Lyrics
When you're bad and you're low-key
You're thinking one knee, I'm thinking both knees
Damn I was changing my ways for you
Spend money, spend nights, spend days with you
