The music producer and NBA star were recently seen together.

Kevin Durant is currently enjoying the NBA offseason. Despite being traded to the Phoenix Suns mid-season as part of an all-in plan from new Suns owner Mat Ishiba, the Suns were eliminated in the second round of the playoffs. While Durant's position on the team is locked in, the organization as a whole has a lot of questions that need answering. Namely - what do they do about Chris Paul and how do they achieve that final step towards an NBA Championship?

Meanwhile, iconic music producer HitBoy is coming off a studio album release, Surf or Drown, from March of this year. He has also produced a number of singles this year, collaborating with the likes of Offset, Don Tolliver, and The Alchemist. Furthermore, a video has emerged of him running into Durant. While it could have been just a chance meeting on the street, it could have been a planned link up.

Durant And Hit-Boy Hang Out

In the clip, reshared by 2cool2bl0g, Hit-Boy is seen riding up to Durant on a scooter. He hops off and greets Durant, who also greets Hit-Boy's entourage. Both men are dressed casually and each sports a bucket hat. It's unclear where the film was taken and what the two of them say to each other. However, Hit-Boy appears to say "it's my birthday", which makes sense given that the rapper and producer turned 35 on May 21.

Online commentators took the video positively. "Bro got a scooter holder 🛴" one person wrote. The comment referred to a member of Hit-Boy's entourage who grabbed his scooter as he hopped off to greet Durant. "Looking forward to hearing what beats they cook up together," wrote another, suggesting that Durant could potentially be Hit-Boy's next collaboration. A number of people also poked some gentle fun at the bright pink bag that Durant can be seen holding in the video. Do you think this was just a social link?
