The rapper is bringing the heat this summer.

It was just over a year ago that GloRilla burst onto the music scene. She dropped her track "F.N.F. (Let's Go)," and the rest is history. Produced by Hitkidd, the song quickly gained traction on TikTok, propelling it to reach No. 42 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It didn't stop there - "F.N.F. (Let's Go)" received a gold certification from the RIAA and even scored a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance. Most notably, legendary rapper Nas gave a shoutout to GloRilla and her viral hit in his own song "Til My Last Breath." In the lyrics, he spits, "I'm applying pressure, I see why she pressed / When she with me she GloRilla, FNF."

However, the release of "F.N.F. (Let's Go)" wasn't without its fair share of issues. GloRilla found herself caught up in legal trouble with the song's producer, Hitkidd. Taking to Twitter, Hitkidd publicly criticized GloRilla, alleging that she and her team attempted to claim full ownership of the track. He also revealed that he had offered advice to GloRilla, but it went unheeded. "I told you... every day we were in LA... that labels would try to sign you because of 'FNF,' so watch out," he continued. "I also told you to keep me informed if labels reach out so we can be on the same page." Despite the challenges she faced, GloRilla's life took a turn for the better following the song's release. Today, GloRilla released another summer banger.

GloRilla Hits The Salon, The Store, And The Streets

Earlier today, GloRilla took some initiative to stand out from all of the new releases that hit on Fridays. Instead, she decided to release her since ā€œLick Or Sumā€ on Tuesday. The new track samples Tear Da Club Up Thugs, Three 6 Mafia, and Project Pat's 2000 hit "Slob On My Nob." With its extremely explicit lyrics, the song is bound to generate significant attention and become a popular subject of discussion on social media in the upcoming weeks. Whether or not the song will be a hit remains to be seen, but it certainly has the potential.

The song wasn't all GloRilla blessed fans with today. The new track came along with a visual that was filled to the brim with twerking. It features the rapper meeting up with friends and partying wherever they end up: the salon, the grocery, the streets. The video also shows Glo playfully whispering to the camera during the chorus of the new single. Overall, both the song and the video definitely give off strong summer vibes.
