It seems like no one's escaping NBA YoungBoy's wrath these days, even if they're on the right side of the story. Moreover, the Baton Rouge MC recently responded to the mother of one of his children, who called him out on Twitter. "Idk whether to get Ms. Sherhonda a Mother's Day gift or a fathers day gift... or both." For those unaware, Drea Symone referred to YB's mother Sherhonda, who's apparently been carrying the weight in raising their child Kodi Kapri. After that tweet, he took to Instagram to voice his frustration with the "entertaining" message and question her timing.

"I ain't gone even say nothing," YoungBoy paradoxically posted on his Instagram Story. "You obviously miserable tf you thinking bout me for and the tweet was too random you too grown. Stop entertaining them that's my job. & that's funny how you pop out trolling at a time like this wide p***y b***h." Yikes. Then, Drea returned to Twitter with a more serious takedown. "'At a time like this' I'll speak on a mf not being a father to my child any day of the week. I could gaf less about anything you got going... must've hit a nerve. Nobody on my mind bu Sherhonda... honestly."

NBA YoungBoy & Baby Mama Trade Social Media Shots

Of course, this is quite the ugly development, especially after the Don't Try This At Home artist's dismissive response. However, he's been on somewhat of a rampage these days, dissing Lil Durk, DJ Akademiks, and India Royale in one fell swoop. That beef is leading up to Friday (May 12), as both Durk and YoungBoy are dropping projects that day (Almost Healed and Richest Opp, respectively). Maybe YB will take a step away from social media and the drama afterwards, or he'll double down again and keep the heat on.

Regardless, the 23-year-old has a lot of kids to split his time with, although it's no excuse for the alleged neglect. Recently, news broke that he reportedly welcomed his 11th child, even if little to no details around them surfaced along with those reports. Hopefully he can put all his affairs in order and seek that personal balance that's only beneficial to his life, family, and peace of mind in the long run. About The Author
Gabriel Bras Nevares is a music and pop culture news writer for HotNewHipHop. He started in 2022 as a weekend writer and, since joining the team full-time, has developed a strong knowledge in hip-hop news and releases. Whether it’s regular coverage or occasional interviews and album reviews, he continues to search for the most relevant news for his audience and find the best new releases in the genre. What excites him the most is finding pop culture stories of interest, as well as a deeper passion for the art form of hip-hop and its contemporary output. Specifically, Gabriel enjoys the fringes of rap music: the experimental, boundary-pushing, and raw alternatives to the mainstream sound. As a proud native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, he also stays up-to-date with the archipelago’s local scene and its biggest musical exponents in reggaetón, salsa, indie, and beyond. Before working at HotNewHipHop, Gabriel produced multiple short documentaries, artist interviews, venue spotlights, and audio podcasts on a variety of genres and musical figures. Hardcore punk and Go-go music defined much of his coverage during his time at the George Washington University in D.C. His favorite hip-hop artists working today are Tyler, The Creator, Boldy James, JPEGMAFIA, and Earl Sweatshirt.
