The winner of the 2023 Met Gala cat-tastrophe still isn't letting her amazing fit go.

Doja Cat was asked many things at the 2023 Met Gala, to which all she could respond was a firm, cheeky, and slightly inflammatory "Meow." Moreover, her stunning tribute to gala theme Karl Lagerfeld's cat Choupette turned all heads at the ceremony. Not only did she arrive in a shimmering cat suit dress, but she employed prosthetic makeup to fully emulate the cat look. Furthermore, if we were in her position, we also wouldn't give up a fit like that so easily. In addition to her show-stopping pics from the gala, the "Woman" artist posted some more pictures of her laying on her bed with her cat suit.

Of course, the 27-year-old's fashion choice wasn't the most controversial part of her 2023 Met Gala appearance. Fans were quick to notice online that Doja Cat was spotted vaping on multiple occasions throughout the night. Considering that she previously canceled some tour dates due to throat surgery, this was disappointing for many fans. Still, if there's anything we can count on Doja for, it's to do things her own way and make impactful artistic statements while doing so.

Doja Cat Keeps Her Stunning Met Gala Outfit On Display

Even though she might be banned from the Met Gala in later years as a result, maybe she won't. After all, Doja Cat is one of the most beloved and talked about fashionistas in pop culture at the moment. Not featuring her during her insane relevancy in music and fashion today would be a huge missed opportunity. Just look at how mad fans got when neither Beyoncé, Zendaya, nor many others graced the gala this year. Regardless, apparently "no smoking" is a pretty big rule there, so we'll see how consequential the aftermath really is.

Beyond that fan debate, Diddy and Doja Cat hosted an afterparty for the occasion shortly after it wrapped up. Guests included Cardi B, Paris Hilton, Emily Ratajkowski, Teyana Taylor, Naomi Campbell, Kendall Jenner, and Bad Bunny. No matter what went on behind the scenes or during interviews, it seems like they all had an opulent blast. As a proud native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, he also stays up-to-date with the archipelago’s local scene and its biggest musical exponents in reggaetón, salsa, indie, and beyond. Before working at HotNewHipHop, Gabriel produced multiple short documentaries, artist interviews, venue spotlights, and audio podcasts on a variety of genres and musical figures. Hardcore punk and Go-go music defined much of his coverage during his time at the George Washington University in D.C.
