Jenner said she used to champion the brand, but now she's sad to see it go "so woke."

Caitlyn Jenner just slammed Nike for bringing on trans TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney as a brand partner. Moreover, she took to Twitter to express her critiques and her "outrage" over the social media influencer promoting the brand's sports bras. Mulvaney posted a series of videos and photos modeling Nike's products on her socials. While she hasn't undergone gender reassignment surgery yet, she identifies as a woman and uses she/they pronouns. In the past, Jenner's been vocal about her opposition to trans females competing in female sports. With her latest series of tweets, however, she admitted to engaging in similar practices.

"As someone that grew up in awe of what [former Nike CEO and foudner] Phil Knight did, it is a shame to see such an iconic American company go so woke!" she tweeted. "We can be inclusive but not at the expense of the mass majority of people, and have some decency while being inclusive. This is an outrage. A little context…I did a collab with H&M (I have done many athletic brand collabs over the years as a successful athlete). I don’t blame Dylan (smart move).

Caitlyn Jenner Slams Nike

"I did not like how Nike treated Allyson Felix when she became pregnant," she continued. "I spoke on the outrage of disparity in their pay. EQUALITY > INCLUSIVITY (STOP TRYING TO ERASE WOMEN). The differences between men and women are real and are a good thing! It doesn’t make trans ppl a bad thing, either. Why is it so black and white with the RADICAL RAINBOW MAFIA?!"

However, Nike doubled down on their decision in a statement, saying they'd delete online comments engaging in bigoted rhetoric. "You are an essential component to the success of your community. We welcome comments that contribute to a positive and constructive discussion. Be kind. Be inclusive. Encourage each other. Hate speech, bullying, or other behaviors that are not in the spirit of a diverse and inclusive community will be deleted." While different sides give their takes, people clearly find this to be a much more complicated issue than it may seem at face value- no matter what side they're on. Regardless, stick around on HNHH for the latest big updates on Caitlyn Jenner.
