As everyone is probably well aware of at this point, The 59th Annual Grammy Awards aired last night. You can check out the full list over winners (including the contentious Album of the Year pick) here. However, many people don’t watch the shows for the winners, they watch for the spectacle. If you didn’t catch the looks (or didn’t want to wade through all the randos), we’ve compiled a gallery of some of the freshest figures in hip hop & R&B as they graced the Grammy Award red carpet, as well as a few fits that were too shocking to pass up. Highlights include lost of artists wearing extremely luxurious loafers, including Rick Ross, 2 Chainz and Fat Joe, a lot of exposed chests, from Lady Gaga and Halsey to Desiigner and an internet meme in the flesh. DJ Khaled’s son was adorably wearing matching blazers with his dad, an artist named Girl Crush made a dress out of the McDonald’s ball pit, and then Lil Yachty took her fit and applied it to his teeth. Schoolboy Q got out-dressed by his daughter. Last but (definitely) not least, Cee-Lo Green rolled through as his alter ego Gnarly Davidson, although he could just as easily have been auditioning to be the next Marvel movie villain.
