Three H-Town legends combine for "Drank."

Need a little Houston real quick? Well here's a new track from Slim Thug, Z-Ro, and Paul Wall. The song's title comes as no surprise, but "Drank" isn't simply an ode to the pleasures of sippin', which have been well documented by each of these guys. Instead, the track is a reflection of lean's place within Houston culture, and how it's changed -- much for the worse -- since the days of DJ Screw.

The combination of candy paint and syrup is an H-Town delicacy, and though none of these vets are ready to hang up their cups, the track is a deeper look into a substance that is the casual muse of so many rap hits these days.

Whether you're sippin' or not, "Drank" is Texas gold, and it's a promising preview of Thug's next album, Hustler of the Year, the third installment in his "Hogg Life" series, which arrives tomorrow (Oct. 30).

Quotable Lyrics

I'm the drank man's favorite, lemme place an orderA
I drink Cruisers like an athlete drinks water
I sip at least a fo' a day since 2004
And when I try to stop it only last a week or so

- Paul Wall
