Sources close to Kanye say he was addressing younger rappers.

Kanye West raised some eyebrows when he decided to call out rappers he felt were copying his stage design at his Saint Pablo tour date in Edmonton last week. “This the original," he said. "Accept no imitations. You with the rap God right now. N*ggas be copying my shit, bro. Stealing our shit, stealing our stages. Copying our shit one to one.”

While he didn't name any names, some fans jumped to the conclusion that Ye was talking about Drake, who's using some lighting that's reminiscent of the setup 'Ye has on his tour.

According to TMZ, who spoke to a source close to the rapper, Kanye was definitely not taking aim at Drake, and the two are still talking about working on new music together. "The outburst this weekend was just 'Ye being 'Ye," they write. "The call-out was to all the younger guys coming up in the rap world who Kanye feels rip him off on the reg."

It's good to hear that there is no tension between Kanye and Drake, and they have promised us a joint project in the near future.
