Just after revealing the artwork, tracklist, and release date for her debut album, No Hard Feelings, Dreezy has released the video to last week's "Close to You," the album's latest single. The song features a particularly scintillating blast of auto-tuned vocals from T-Pain, and the beautifully-shot new video serves to confirm that "Close to You" is R&B in its purest form.
The video begins with Dreezy sitting in her car late at night in the middle of a serious rainstorm. The smooth jazz-inflected production inspires her to dream of a romantic encounter with the man who's staying in the trailer she's parked in front of. He must be an elusive, dangerous figure, though he's kept the light on just for Dreezy. Teddy Pain then emerges with a magic umbrella, and he and Dreezy are soon placed in front of a backdrop of dizzying lights. The video ends with Dreezy driving off, and her man standing alone in the rain, just a little too late.
No Hard Feelings is set to drop on July 15.
