Over the past few weeks, Tim Westwood has invited Tyga, Charles Hamilton, and Migos, among others, to come spit at his home studio. The young guns always bring their best bars for the U.K.'s primo don DJ, and the legends do too. After the 20th anniversary of their seminal album The Infamous, Mobb Deep crashed Westwood's "Crib Session" to kick freestyles over classic 90s instrumentals.
Both Havoc and Prodigy are now 40, but they haven't lost any of their inspiration on the mic. It appears their chemistry is in tact, too, as they go back-and-forth over a West Coast g-funk production--not their comfort zone--but they kill it nonetheless.
