After yesterday's terrorist attack during the Bastille Day celebrations in Nice, Rihanna has cancelled tonight's "Anti" show in the southern French city.

As part of her "Anti" world tour, Rihanna was scheduled to perform in Nice, France tonight. In the wake of yesterday's terrorist attack on the southern French city, which has thus far killed 84 people and injured 202, reports The New York Times, Rihanna has cancelled tonight's show. She was in Nice at the time of yesterday's attack, though a rep of her's informed Billboard that "she's safe."

Rihanna announced the cancellation of her show in Nice via Instagram. "Our thoughts are with the victims and their families," she wrote.

The attack commenced at around 10:45pm on Thursday night in an area of the city where many had gathered in the streets to celebrate the French national holiday Bastille Day. A man driving a rented 19-ton truck drove through the densely packed Promenade des Anglais for about 1.1 miles, running over and killing scores of people, before he was killed during a gunfight with three police officers. Moments before the massacre, the crowds had enjoyed the Bastille Day fireworks, with which the holiday usually concludes. With the current death toll, yesterday's tragedy is the second-deadliest attack France has experienced since WWII.

Rihanna's "Anti" tour continues on Sunday, July 17, in Frankfurt, Germany.
