Gucci Mane reveals his new album cover.

Gucci Mane has been on fire since his release from prison last year. His album Droptopwop featured some bangers that have been lighting up parties the world over for months now, including his mammoth track "Met Gala," which gets an assist from Migos member Offset. In the process of letting his latest batch of music seep into the public consciousness, he also teased that he had even more new music that was on the way for his fans before 2017 expires. Cue his upcoming project, Mr. Davis.

First, we got the new track "I Get The Bag," which features all of the Migos men this time. After a summer spent most on features for other people's releases, Gucci got back to his starring role in rap music. From the beat that slaps something loud to the verses, each new one feeling better executed than the last. He also revealed last week that the Mr. Davis feature list will also include Big Sean, Chris Brown, Ty Dolls Sign, The Weekend, Young Dolph, Slim Jxmmi, A$AP Rocky & more. There's definitely some fire lurking on this LP, which will drop September 15th. Until then, Gucci has revealed the cover art that will accompany this new material.

A portrait of the emcee as a youngster, Mr. Davis will boast some throwback vibes on its cover that is more than a little reminiscent of when Lil Wayne tried something similar with a previous album cover. Gucci's upcoming project is also currently available on iTunes and will include the already-released tracks "Tone It Down," his Chris Brown collab from earlier in the summer, as well as "Make Love." There's no telling exactly what direction this album will go in, but one can bet on Gucci Mane staying the course and continuing with his bass-heavy ATL trap sound, having seen it serve him well on Droptopwop. That LP has been one of the less-talked about releases that deserves to be called great, so maybe expectations are high as well. That being said, if there's any rapper alive who's able to rise to the occasion, it would be Gucci.
