R&B singer Tinashe score a major victory in her personal life today, after a judge granted her a restraining order against a fan who not only had an obsession with her, but an obsession for firearms as well. According to a report from TMZ, the fan in question allegedly drove from Boston out to Los Angeles in order to be with her because he think they're married, which was frightening for Tinashe since he recently renewed his interest in guns.
Martin Murphy now has to keep a distance of 100 yards minimum away from the singer at all times and cannot own or even possess a gun, as per the contents of the restraining order. Murphy's family says his behavior has been caused by a "psychotic break" that has rendered him unable at times to distinguish fantasy from reality. Thankfully for Tinashe, he won't be able to get near enough to her to inflict any bodily harm.
It's been an up-and-down last couple of weeks for Tinashe's fans. On the positive side, she recently covered Galore magazine with a scorching hot summer photo shoot that saw her model several revealing swimsuits. However, those who were banking on seeing her at this year's NYS Fair will be disappointed, as she's pulled out of the event, along with DJ Khaled.
