French Montana Debuts At No. 3 On Album Charts, Jay-Z Returns At No. 1

First week sales for "Jungle Rules" are in.

French Montana's sophomore album Jungle Rules is the only debut on this week's Billboard 200 top ten. The album bows at No. 3 with 52,000 equivalent album units (16,000 in traditional album sales). Montana's debut album Excuse My French entered the charts with 56,000 units sold in 2013.

Jay-Z's 4:44 remains in the top spot for a second consecutive week, moving 87,000 equivalent album units (61,000 traditionally). The total sales dropped 67 percent from last week's impressive 262,000. Another consistent seller Kendrick Lamar's DAMN. is at No. 2, moving 56,000 album equivalent units in its 14th week on the charts.

Next week, Meek Mill and Lana Del Rey are expected to compete for the No. 1 slot, according to Hits Daily Double.
