R. Kelly, the "Pied Piper of R&B," is back in the news. The multi-platinum recording artist, known for his ability to serenade listeners with his mesmerizing voice, finds himself once again facing serious charges. Despite being found not guilty to fourteen counts of child pornography in 2008, it seems that Kelly has yet to convince certain media sources that he's an upstanding citizen.
On Monday, social media was shaken by new allegations made against Kelly. Allegedly the Pied Piper of R&B was responsible for organizing an 'abusive cult' involving six women, as told in an investigative report published by Buzzfeed contributor Jim DeRogatis. In the report, three former members of Kelly's entourage confirmed that there were women being held at rental properties belonging to none other than Kelly himself.
The former entourage members claimed that one of the alleged "cultists" was the best friend of the woman originally seen in the videotape from Kelly's 2008 trial. According to these same sources, however, the original woman and Kelly parted ways.
