Yo Gotti decided to show Nicki Minaj some love in a new interview.
In an interview with Billboard, Gotti dishes on a variety topics, including his love for working with Nicki Minaj. "Whether it’s something small like the mix and master, she’s involved, and I have a lot of respect for her because of that […] A lot of artists don’t give a f**k,” he said. "They’ll do their verse and not give a f**k how the artwork is [...] she be on her s**t and that’s how I am.
The two collaborated on the rising single, "Rake It Up," but it’s not the first time they’ve linked up. In 2009, they worked together on Gotti's "5 Star Chick" remix, as well as 2016's "Down in the DM."
The Memphis writer has been promoting his upcoming project Gotti Made-It, which is a collaboration with vaunted producer Mike WiLL Made-It.
