Drake didn't get the top spot, but he once again proved why it's foolish to ever count him out.
Let's get to it...
10) 2 Chainz - No Off Dayz
2 Chainz and Zaytoven sounded like a can't-miss proposition. The combination of
trap's clown prince and it's beatmaking king undoubtedly drew the HNHH masses to this song, but Tity Boi didn't hold up his end.
At least we still have Trapavelli Tre. This track made it to the #10 spot in
its first week on the charts.
9) Wiz Khalifa ft. Tyga & Chris Brown - See You Again (Remix)
The original "See You Again" was an unstoppable slab of schmaltzy nonsense that
managed to break all kinds of records.
Well, turns out there were quite a few versions of the song made, including ones
with Chris Brown, Jason Derulo and Trey Songz. The same people who liked the
original (they exist, apparently) helped push this Breezy version into the #9
spot in its first week.
8) Post Malone - #mood
It takes a hell of a song for a white rapper to bounce back from being caught
saying the n-word on camera. "#mood" must be it for HNHH readers.
Post Malone's reworking of 50 Cent's "Window Shopper" made it to #8 in its
second week on our charts, even if Lily Allen did it better.
7) Young Thug - My Baby
Only someone as prolific as Young Thug could drop a track like "My Baby" mere
days before an 18-song mixtape release.
Rap's most unintelligible superstar got the requisite hate for this piano-
driven, post-snap track, but still managed the #7 spot in its first week.
6) Chris Brown - Zero
A sentence I never thought I'd type: Chris Brown is on that Itali-disco tip
right now.
This track comes straight out of some alternate universe where Giorgio Moroder
was able to look past the fact that Breezy's kinda scum to make some driving
club tracks. Of course, it's 2015 Chris Brown, so he manages to ruin the track
with the "that's how many f*cks I give" bit.
Still, #TeamBreezy rolls deep. And they pushed the track to #6 in its first
week.
5) Drake - Hotline Bling
Seent it. It's still here.
"Bling" managed to jump four spots in its eighth week on the charts. Never
predict the end of a Drake song is the lesson here.
4) Rick Ross - Work
When Ross is on, he's absolutely unfuckwithable. And that's the case with both Black Dollar and his loosie "Work." It made it to #4 in its debut week.
3) The Game ft. Future & Sonyae - Dedicated
Is The Game back? Well, probably not. But a Future collab like "Dedicated" can't hurt his cause.
Documentary 2 is coming, we'll see if it's as solid all the way through.
2) Drake - Tell Your Friends
Come on y'all. We don't owe this our time, but...you know, Drake. "Tell Your Friends" fell out of the top spot and landed at #2 in its second week.
1) Lil Wayne - What You Sayin
It feels good to hear Weezy go in again. "What You Sayin" got the top spot it probably deserves in its second week on the charts, jumping seven spots and a Drake song to get there.
