The reality TV show "Road To Total Slaughter" brought battle rap into a spotlight it hasn’t seen for quite some time (if ever). In addition to being a showcase for battling in general, it shined a light on eight battlers in particular (nine if you still want to count Cortez), giving each one a chance to be seen on a much larger stage. The Total Slaughter event itself was heavily criticized, as deserved, but we’re just gonna talk about the show on here.
