The Guys deliver the "Free The Guys" EP.

Last year, The Guys impressed us with their Ice Cube-inspired left turn, "Still Wanna Kill Sam", and the Chicago duo have continued to develop their sound with their new project, Free The Guys. While technically an EP, the 12-track effort plays more like a full-length, and happens to be the strongest statement from the group so far. Combining undeniable technical ability with a keen sense of melody, as well as some strong politics, the tape proves The Guys as one of the most singular acts to come out of Chicago's vibrant scene in some time.

The Legendary Fya Man -- one half of the group -- provides the majority of the production, while further contributions come from Courtlin Jabrae, Stevie Nick, and CamBeats.
