Rollout strategies are getting weirder and weirder. While half of artists are dropping their projects out of the blue, a new strategy for releasing music seems to be the pre-order with an indefinite release date. Most recently, we saw Jay Rock's album get this treatment, and it's subsequently jumped from an expected release date in September all the way to December 4th.
Ty Dolla $ign announced today that his album will be going up as a pre-order September 11th, which hopefully means it will be dropping soon after, but it probably all depends on how many orders it accumulates.
Anyway, look out for Free T.C.'s page to hit iTunes next week, and if you're a fan, make sure to buy it so it can see the light of day.
