The race between Lecrae and Jhene Aiko for the Billboard 200 #1 spot was a close one, but Lecrae has come out on top. The rapper's new album Anomaly snagged a #1 debut, after moving a reported 88,299 units, according to Hits Daily Double.

Jhene Aiko's debut album Souled Out is behind by more than 10,000 units, after selling a still-respectable 71,230 copies opening week. She wasn't able to lock down a #2 because of Maroon 5's V album, nonetheless she comes in at #3. We'll probably see Souled Out do numbers in the long-term, if Sail Out was any indication. The EP fluctuated on the Billboard 200 for quite some time.

Lecrae is definitely widening his fanbase, as his sales went up from his last album, 2012's Gravity. Gravity moved 72,000 copies opening week and landed at #3. At the time, that was the biggest sales week for a Christian hip-hop album (although Lecrae doesn't enjoy being categorized as such), so this time around he's beaten his own record.
