Jay Electronica isn't one to shy away from his thoughts on twitter. A few weeks ago, he took to the social media platform to vent out his frustration about so called “thugs" and crooked cops. Well on Friday, he was back at it with some more choice words during a fan Q&A.

Jay spent several hours answering questions from fans on the current state of hip-hip & the media, but it was one specific question and answer that raised some eyebrows. When Jay was asked about the best verse on “Control”, Jay said that he had the best verse, with Big Sean coming in second, and Kendrick Lamar third. K. Dot 3rd? Jay actually went in-depth about his answer and said it's no diss.

"He really didn't say anything," Jay said about Kendrick's verse. He also added that Kendrick is one of his favorites, and that his assessment was not a diss.

Later in his chat, Jay also touched on Drake having tea with Erykah Badu, who’s the mother of his child, Mars. Jay didn't offer details, but said that he had stories of the both of them that he was keeping under wraps. He went on to say that Drake and him had not worked together on a song, contradicting earlier reports that there is a song with the two of them over a Just Blaze beat.

Oh, and his answer to “will the album drop this year?” was...“Yes.” But we'll see how that goes.

Check out a few tweets below, and hit up his timeline for the rest of his conversations.
