Riri reflects on her last album's accomplishments.

It's been almost exactly three years since Rihanna released her last studio album Anti. The album was received with critical praise and is one of the most musically diverse albums in her discography. Fans have been patiently awaiting some new music as they haven't gotten anything since January 28th of 2016.

Riri has been teasing that her album is pretty well close to being finished but has kept any specific details on lock. Most recently though, Rihanna took to Instagram to celebrate the third year anniversary of Anti' release and also reflect on how it is still on Billboard 200 Album charts despite being a 2016 release.

"3 years old....and this baby is still on the #Billboard200 album chart! Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm. Music was my gateway drug to every other wonderful aspect of creative opportunity that I’ve explored," Rihanna explained. "And I’m grateful for that. But music is, and always will be, my first love and direct connection to your spirit. I’m blessed to have y’all! One Love always."

With Rihanna speaking so fondly of music, it's a sign that she's locked in creatively and will absolutely be looking to bring the heat to her next project.

How much are you looking forward to a new Riri project?
