The rapper began these Sunday Service events earlier this year. Each week, clips of the performances have surfaced online via Kim Kardashian's Instagram setting which helped 'Ye land the one-off performance at Coachella. The rapper was initially rumored to headline Coachella this year but after the festival organizers refused to build him a dome for his performance, he opted out. His Coachella set included guest performances from Kid Cudi, Chance The Rapper, and Ty Dolla $ign. He also had DMX close out the performance with a prayer.

The Sunday Service performances have delivered gospel-infused renditions of some of his most famous singles. Additionally, he's previewed new music off of his forthcoming album, Yandhi which fans are still waiting for.
