You can't make this stuff up. KFC beef.

If you were to ask Naturi Naughton about her days in the hit girl group 3LW, she would tell you that they were her formative years, but it was also a time wrought with anxiety and sadness. The group had singles featuring Diddy, Young Joc, Jermaine Dupri, Lil Romeo, Lil Wayne, Nick Cannon, and more, and many believed that they would be together for much longer than just a few years.

In 2002, the Power actress left the group following rumors that her band members Adrienne Bailon and Kiely Williams wanted her out, and years ago she detailed that last nail-in-the-coffin encounter that solidified her decision to leave on her own. Recently she once again shared the story of the fight on TV One's Uncensored, saying that it all went down in a KFC parking lot in Atlanta.

"There was a driver sitting in our suburban, the manager who was also one of the girls' mothers sitting in the front," Naughton began. "Kiely and Adrienne were sitting in the middle aisle and I was in the back by myself. I said, 'I'm not the one who's trying to kick me out the group. Don't be mad that Wendy Williams or that the news is out, 'cause it's true.'"

"And there was some names called, some profanities thrown, [then] she turned around, Kiely, and threw a plate of food, mashed potatoes, chicken [and] whatever else was in there, in my face," Naughton continued. "I got out the car and I was just like, I'm going home. I was not given a gift to sing to deal with this...Real talk, this is not what I'm supposed to be doing. If you all don't see me, and you all don't appreciate me, someone else will. They drove off with that driver and left me in the parking lot in Atlanta, Georgia."

Williams was made aware of Naughton's interview and jumped on her Instagram to issue a response. "So I'm over here being a mom, literally bothering no one and I hear Nautri Naughton tells all, what really happened at KFC. Okay. I let that s**t go. It's probably just a splashy soundbite, right. Roll your eyes, move on. But then I hear that not only did I pie her in the face with chicken and mashed potatoes, we left her on the side of the road. First of all, no we didn't. And second of all, why? Why would you need to make up new lies? Were the old ones not working anymore? I just don't see the point. I'm not in the entertainment industry anymore. I'm a mom. I'm over here. You are on a hit television show. Why do you need this?

Naughton responded by leaving multiple laughing emojis, and Williams fired back with an image of a Nike symbol with the words, "B**ch, just don't." Seventeen years later and these ladies are fighting on Instagram. Meanwhile, back in 2017, Naughton visited The Real where Bailon issued a public apology to Naughton for doing anything in the past that hurt her.
