Before Kehlani welcomed her first child Adeya Nomi, the 24-year-old new mom dropped off a fantastic nine-track mixtape, While We Wait. The project was filled with great tracks such as "RPG" and "Butterfly" that also got gorgeous visuals that saw Kehlani's growing baby bump, at the time. Since welcoming her daughter into the world the "Honey" singer has seemingly been feeling all kinds of inspired since she's just announced on Instagram that a new album is on the way.
Sharing a selfie that sees her glowing complexion, Kehlani noted that while she doesn't have time to curate a crafted Instagram feed, she does have time to work on a new tape.
"Yeah I clearly like selfies these days fuck curating an artsy Instagram lmfao jk jk jk zooooont worry I’m working on a new album," she wrote. "Hair by my day wunnnn @efemeh 🧡 and clearly I need a lash fill DONT do me."

"From sound, to art, to even moral support at the studio when my belly was sitting on my daaaamn diaphragm saying “girl i know you can sing this stop playing wit me” even if i wanted to cry because i couldn’t breathe 😂 thank you to my body for being so patient," Kehlani wrote of her previous mixtape. "And thank you to my daughter for putting so much life into me (literally). this was so fun to make. a little under two months and we knocked it out."
