Juicy J Teases Possible Position As President Of Columbia Records

Juicy J thanks the record label for considering him to fill in the position of president.

Juicy J has over 25 years worth of experience in the music industry. The rap vet founded one of hip hop's most influential groups, Three 6 Mafia in the early 90's before breaking through as a solo artist in the 2000's. However, it looks like Juicy J might be putting in more work behind the scenes soon. The rapper took to Instagram and hinted at a possible presidential position at a major record label.

Juicy J is looking at a high-up executive position at Columbia Records. The rapper shared a photo of himself inside the Columbia Records office and revealed that he was considered for a President/CEO position.

"I just wanna thank @columbiarecords for considering me for President/CEO," he wrote. "I’m Bout to Bring something new to this Game"

Juicy J didn't reveal much other information, nor did the label, but this would definitely be a good look for Columbia Records. The label has an extensive roster including some of the biggest names in music including Beyonce, Adele, Tyler, The Creator, Earl Sweatshirt, Harry Styles and more. With Juicy's extensive resume in the music industry, he'd be a perfect fit for the roster.

Unfortunately, we haven't received a whole lot of music from Juicy J this year. The rapper released his project, SHUTDAFUKUP in January which dropped a little over a month after his album Rubba Band Business. He recently announced a new EP with $UICIDEBOY$, but a release date for the project hasn't been set yet. Keep your eyes peeled for that.
