Since Desiigner is planning to release some new music shortly, his recent appearance on RevoltTV wasn't surprising. One element of his visit, however, did leave some viewers in awe: his performance of the classic Mark Morrison track, "Return Of The Mack." As the unique artist that he is, Desiigner enlisted a violinist to accompany his vocals. D-Sharp laid down the instrumental foundation for the novel cover.
While both Desiigner and D-Sharp seem to enjoy their synergy, grooving away with smiles on their faces, the video of their interpretation garnered mixed feelings. Many of the comments under the Youtube video express disappointment or straight-up resentment.
Some commenters wonder whether Desiigner is serious about this performance or if he's still signed to a label. Trolls warn against drugs and recommend avoiding nights at the club while pregnant. One user summed up their feelings with a pun, "Return of the whack."

This unusual rendition comes shortly after the rapper's announcement of his preparing new music for his fans. His last release, the L.O.D EP dropped in May. He also appeared on Thutmose's most recent project, Man On Fire, lending his vocals for "OkOk."
