PnB Rock is looking to pick up where "Changes" left off.

After XXXTentacion passed away on June 18th, 2018, his friend and collaborator PnB Rock issued a heartfelt tribute to the late rapper. Taking to the stage, PnB performed an intimate rendition of "Changes," the pair's stripped-down collaboration. Now, PnB has confirmed that X's spirit will live on through a spiritual successor, set to appear on Rock's upcoming album TrapStar Turnt PopStar. The rapper took to Twitter to share some of the project's features, confirming that Triple X would be appearing, albeit in an unknown capacity.

From the look of it, Rock's album will feature appearances from Lil Durk, Tee Grizzley, Quavo, XXXTentacion, Tory Lanez, Lil Skies, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and more. Naturally, many of Triple X's fans have already expressed excitement over the "Changes" follow-up. Their first collaboration was ultimately chosen as one of ?'s lead singles, and has since hit platinum status. For PnB, the accomplishment was a bittersweet one, as it occurred mere days after X's death.

"Just found out me and bro went “Platinum” wit this record," wrote PnB, two days removed from X's passing. "It’s not even the same tho because i didn’t get a feelin of happiness when i heard but instead i just cried because we ain’t even get to share our moment together." Look for TrapStar Turnt PopStar, coming soon.
