Drake Helps Summer Walker Earn First Hot 100 Entry With "Girls Need Love" Remix

Summer Walker hits the Billboard Hot 100 with "Girls Need Love" remix.

Drake extends his triumphant Billboard run with his 193rd entry on the Hot 100 charts this week. The rapper's remix of "Girls Need Love" by Summer Walker has helped the Atlanta R&B star earn her first Hot 100 entry. The song debuted at #87 on the chart after debuting on Feb 27th.

The track already had some momentum going following its 2017 release. The song was an immediate highlight off of her debut album, Last Day of Summer. "Girls Need Love" became her first Billboard entry when it debuted on the Hot R&B Songs in October. The song has since climbed to number 6 on the chart.

The song debuted on the chart with 8.1M U.S. streams with an additional 3000 song units sold by the end of Feb. 28th.

"Girls Need Love (Remix)" also debuted at #42 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs this week and rose thirteen positions from 48-35 on R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart. She also reached a new peak on the Emerging Artist chart from 45-23.

Drake's latest Hot 100 entry helps the rapper add his 193rd Hot 100 entry in his career. The rapper continues to extend his run as having the most amount of Billboard Hot 100 hits among soloist. Additionally, he recently landed his 10th top 10 album on the Billboard 200 with So Far Gone which only hit streaming services a few weeks back to commemorate the project's 10 year anniversary.
