Dave East & Styles P

Funkmaster Flex beams with pride while Styles P & Dave East murder instrumentals.

The Beloved Brothers, Dave East and Styles P, have been steadily enjoying a renewed dose of money, power, and respect; though both parties have never experienced a shortage to begin with, such are the side effects of dropping a new album for the streets. With Beloved in frequent rotation amidst barbershops, bodegas, and the burbs, Styles and East have decided to bless Funkmaster Flex with the gift he cherishes most: "BARS."

The pair waste little time in exchanging pleasantries, and Flex cues up several classic instrumental for their listening pleasure. "I got a fresh new pair of Timbs here," prefaces Flex, setting a tone. Styles kicks it off with a crazy verse, delivering an up-tempo flow ripe with rugged braggadocio. "Fuck with East get your knees broke," spits P, "I run outta bars, I got Belize coat." For anyone sleeping on Styles P, rest assured that he's still outrapping plenty of big-name acts.

Likewise for East, who picks up the torch with panache. Taking to Mobb Deep's "Keep It Thoro," East acquaints himself nicely with some excellent lyrical groundwork. Peep the freestyle now, and make Funk Flex proud.
