Chance celebrates a new milestone.

Chance The Rapper's Coloring Book solo project arrived in May of 2016, featuring appearances from Kanye West, Young Thug, Future, Jay Electronica, Lil Wayne, and Justin Bieber among others and gave fans hits like "No Problem" and "Juke Jam."

While fans patiently await its follow-up, reportedly set to arrive this year, Coloring Book has still been in heavy rotation, recently surpassing the 1.5 billion mark in streams on the Spotify platform.  The rapper took to the socials to announce the news.

"I just went platinum on @Spotify," he penned in a tweet.

It's another win for the independent rapper, who has continuously set an example for the successes artists can experience when choosing to keep their catalogs outside of major label rotation.

This year, in addition to the album, Chance also is making plans to tie the knot with longtime girlfriend and co-parent Kirsten Corley. While he preps the new effort, Chance has been busy focusing on his family, even closing down Barneys in Chicago last month, in order to allow Corley to go on a private shopping spree.

"Life is good so you gonna get that shit when I'm ready," he recently said on Instagram when confirming the arrival of his album. "July though."
