"PURPPGOTWINGS... soon" says Cardo.

Smokepurpp has some new material in the works, and it all should be released in the near future. The South Florida rapper took to Twitter today to promise both his long-teased project DEADSTAR 2 and some new music with Cardo. "Me and @CardoGotWings bout to let that choppa go," he wrote. "DEADSTAR 2 HOE, ON THE WAY LIKE A 9 MONTH PREGNANT LADY."

While Purpp did not elaborate on what exactly he and Cardo were working on, Cardo seemed to suggest that we can expect a collaborative project from himself and Purrp. "PURPPGOTWINGS @smokepurpp ..............soon," he wrote. Cardo has previously released collaborative projects with vocalists under similar titles (Neffy Got Wings with Nef The Pharaoh, Che Got Wings with Che Ecru).

Smokepurpp released DEADSTAR, his debut project, last September. Earlier this year, he teamed up with Murda Beatz for Bless Yo Trap. He has another collaborative project with his close friend Lil Pump planned, but it will reportedly only come after Pump shares his solo project Harvard Dropout.

Meanwhile, Cardo and Payroll Giovanni released Big Bossi Vol. 2 earlier this year, which remains one of 2018's most underrated projects. Stream it here. Recently, he earned a Hot 100 No. 1 for Drake's "God's Plan," which he produced.
