Lil Durk was in court today for his bond hearing, and the rapper didn't exactly get the outcome he was waiting for.

Just moments ago, it was revealed by reporter Michael Blackshire that Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald will not decide on Lil Durk's bond today. The bail has been submitted, although the Judge plans to review filings from both sides over the coming days. Only then will he come to a decision.

The bond hearing lasted two hours. It began at 2:30 PM local time, and only ended at 4:30 PM. Durk's legal team had prepared a lengthy filing in order to secure his bond. If you remember, his bail package included numerous character letters from the likes of JAY-Z, J. Cole, and many others.

However, just hours before today's proceedings, Federal prosecutors came through with their own filing. It was here that the Feds revealed Durk would be investigated for allegedly introducing contraband into the Metropolitan Detention Center.

They argued that Durk is a flight risk and a risk to the community. Moreover, prosecutors took direct aim at the celebrity endorsements, saying that this alone shouldn't be enough to get Durk a bond.

At this time, Judge Fitzgerald has not revealed when he will provide a verdict. This means Lil Durk will be in limbo for an indefinite amount of time. It also remains unknown if Durk will be going back into solitary confinement during the alleged investigation.

This is all taking place months before Durk's VICAR trial, which is scheduled for August 2027. Prosecutors have stated that they are more than happy to expedite the process and get the trial done sooner rather than later.

Overall, Lil Durk's bond status remains a developing story, so stay tuned to HNHH for updates.
