The Free Greedo movement has gotten off to a rocky start. According to a report obtained by TMZ, 03 Greedo failed to turn himself in a timely manner because he missed his flight out of Los Angeles on Wednesday. The Vallejo rapper was sentenced to 20 years with chance of parole on drug and gun charges. As reported, Greedo pulled out all the stops in the days leading up to his court hearing. He found time to release a mixtape, propose to his girlfriend, well before he caught his breath.
Thankfully, Greedo sensing the miscue would look bad on his record, informed prison officials of his presumed tardiness the minute he touched down in Texas, where he is due to carry out his bid. By the time, he landed in Amarillo, prison officials officials were waiting to stretcher him out to the next locale.
The judge presiding over his case issued a bench warrant for his arrest, because it's required by law, but Greedo stands a good chance of having this blemish erased from his record. As you may have heard, Greedo has big plans for the future and is hopeful his prison stint will be reduced on good behavior. While he's locked, expect his unreleased music to be staggered until it runs out.
