"Bewitched" is getting another remake.

Kenya Barris just recently signed a multi-million dollar deal with Netflix to create exclusive content and programs for the streaming service, effective immediately. Before his departure from mainstream television, he sold one last idea to ABC that follows a Bewitched reboot, but with an interracial family, Deadline  reports. The project is helmed by Kenya and writer/producer Yamara Taylor.

"In Bewitched, written by Barris and Taylor, Samantha, a hardworking black single mom who happens to be a witch, marries Darren, a white mortal who happens to be a bit of a slacker. They struggle to navigate their differences as she discovers that even when a black girl is literally magic, she’s still not as powerful as a decently tall white man with a full head of hair in America."

The original Bewitched aired from 1964 to 1972 and followed a married couple and the wife had magical powers. In 2005, the show was made into a movie starring Will Ferrell and Nicole Kidman.

There's been no word on who will star in the Kenya reboot, but keep it locked for more details.
