Rapper Tekashi69, real name Daniel Hernandez and also known as 6ix9ine, Tekashi 6ix9ine, Tekashi 69, arrives for his arraignment on assault charges in County Criminal Court #1 at the Harris County Courthouse on August 22, 2018 in Houston, Texas.

The plot thickens.

On Friday, Tekashi 6ix9ine stopped by The Breakfast Club and claimed that the reason he fired his entire team was that he was being robbed. Tekashi claimed that he only received around $300,000 of an alleged $3.5 million deal, something that shocked almost anyone watching the interview. Tekashi continued on to claim that members of the booking company that handled the deal, MTA, also threatened the life of his mother. According to TMZMTA is refuting Tekashi's claims

A rep for MTA claims that there was never a $3.5 million deal in the first place. It was a discussion, but never a deal that was hammered out, debated, or written down on paper. They went on to reaffirm that MTA, along with Tr3way Entertainment, handled the rainbow-haired rapper's security, travel, and transportation. The also emphasized that they worked around the clock to make sure Tekashi made it to his various court appearances safely.

MTA told TMZ that they booked nine upcoming US shows, and two in Mexico, for Tekashi. They claim he was paid a $700,000 deposit for those shows. There were also five shows in Germany for which Tekashi was allegedly paid nearly $160,000 in deposits. MTA is currently contemplating taking legal action against Tekashi for his words on The Breakfast Club.
